These photographs were made during a long-distance relationship, thinking about ideas of tenderness and touch — perhaps found in traces of intimacy, contours of the body, light that only lasts an instant, or a limp blossom gone tomorrow. The handmade small book is printed on two types of tracing paper, making the images translucent. Desire and distance take the form of empty pages and overlapping memories.
